I use Reaper... sorta commercial... nag free reminder... that reminds me... gotta pay for it this year...

I use this freeware as well for less complex things like sample editing and normalizing/conversion.


Audacity works as well... used it briefly a while back:


For effects and processing I use just about all of these plugins (instruments too):


There are some crappy ones in there so happy hunting for the good stuff...
